How to have your personal data deleted from WheelOps, operated by IraOra Solutions Private Limited. This page covers business accounts, WhatsApp integration data, and people who have received WhatsApp messages sent through the platform.

How to submit a deletion request
Email privacy@wheelops.inwith the subject line "Data deletion request". Send the request from the email address associated with your WheelOps account, and tell us:
- The name of the business the account belongs to.
- Whether you want the whole account deleted, or only specific data, such as the WhatsApp integration or message logs.
We verify every request against the email address and phone number on record before acting on it, and may ask for more information if we cannot confirm your identity or your authority over the account. We acknowledge requests promptly and aim to complete verified deletions within 30 days. We confirm to you by email once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted for a business account
On a verified request to delete a business account, we delete or anonymise:
- User accounts and profiles belonging to the business.
- Customer, vehicle, service, job card, stock and supplier records, and uploaded photos.
- WhatsApp message logs: outbound message text, recipient numbers and delivery statuses.
- WhatsApp integration data: the WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, and stored access tokens and credentials.
Deletion is carried out by our team against the live database, and we confirm by email when it is done. If you delete an individual customer from inside the application, that removes the customer record but not the log of messages already sent to that person; ask us for "message logs" explicitly if you want those removed too.
We may retain limited records where the law requires it, including invoices and tax records for the statutorily required period, and records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or protect our systems. Where a backup copy exists, deleted data may persist in it until that copy is replaced or destroyed; backups are not restored to live systems except to recover from a failure.
Disconnecting WhatsApp without deleting the account
A business can end WheelOps's access to its WhatsApp Business Account by:
- Removing WheelOps from the WhatsApp Business Account in Meta Business Settings, or revoking the token there. This is the route you control yourself, and it takes effect immediately.
- Emailing privacy@wheelops.in and asking us to disconnect the integration, which is what deletes our stored copy of the token.
Disconnecting stops new outbound messages and webhook processing. If you revoke access at Meta, the token stops working straight away, but tell us as well so that we delete the copy stored in WheelOps. Disconnecting does not delete message logs already recorded; ask for those separately if you want them removed.
If you received a WhatsApp message sent through WheelOps
Messages sent through WheelOps are sent on behalf of a business you have dealt with, such as a tyre shop or workshop, and your details are controlled by that business. Contact that business first: it can delete your details from its records and stop messaging you. If you do not know how to reach the business, or it has not resolved your request, write to privacy@wheelops.in and we will help identify the business or forward your request to it.
